Specialized Services
We are the largest 3rd party forklift delivery service in the state of Georgia. Our assets are comprised of 24-foot flatbed straight trucks, 45-foot, and 48-foot trailers with piggyback forklifts. This "final mile" delivery capability allows for precise material placement at job sites. We service an extensive customer base of suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and other customers, handling diverse construction materials including roofing supplies, tile, lumber, stone, brick, pipe, sod, and structural steel.

The SLD Transport Advantage
Operating a truck fleet continues to become more complicated to navigate with high and variable fuel costs, rising equipment and insurance costs, liability concerns, driver shortages, and rapidly expanding government regulations. Using SLD Transport's services allows our customers to avoid these issues and concentrate on their core business. In addition, our customers who are continuing to use some of their own trucks for customer deliveries have found that they can reduce overall transportation cost by using SLD Transport to accommodate volume fluctuations, rather than investing in owned equipment and company drivers who will be idled during slower periods.
